About Us.
We’re the team you call when the work gets hard—because that’s when leadership matters most.
The Planfully Way.
Planfully is a boutique consulting firm that supports leaders through their most complex, high-stakes work. We partner with organizations that are serious about impact and ready to take bold, strategic steps toward it.
Our team brings deep expertise from the inside—having led multi-year system transformations, executed high-profile initiatives, and supported the closure of more than 30 schools with clarity, compassion, and care.
We believe in building systems for what’s next. That’s why we don’t show up with pre-baked solutions. We meet you where you are, build trust across your team, and help you move the work forward.
Who We Are
Lisa Relou
Lisa Relou has spent her career inside large, complex public school systems. She has led and supported the closure and consolidation of more than 30 schools, working alongside superintendents, cabinet teams, school boards, and communities navigating enrollment decline, budget constraints, and deeply emotional change.
Most recently, Lisa has served as Chief of Staff in one of Colorado’s largest districts. She will conclude her service in this role in spring 2026, bringing that experience—and the perspective of someone still actively in the work—into every Planfully engagement.
Lisa co-founded Planfully because she believes districts deserve partners who have been in the work, not just adjacent to it. She brings a calm, credible presence to moments when leadership is tested—and helps teams move from uncertainty to clarity, especially when the path forward is unpopular but necessary.
Claire Takhar
Claire Takhar has supported districts through school closures, consolidations, and boundary changes, working at the intersection of operations, finance, facilities, and community engagement. She knows that while the technical analysis matters, it’s the sequencing, internal alignment, and follow-through that ultimately determine whether a district can execute difficult decisions without losing trust.
Throughout her career, Claire has partnered closely with leaders to translate strategy into action. She brings a practical, grounded lens to complex challenges, rooted in how districts actually function day to day.
Claire co-founded Planfully because she believes districts need advisors who understand the internal pressure, political complexity, and emotional weight of this work. She is especially skilled at spotting stress points early, strengthening systems before they falter, and helping leaders do the hard work in ways that are disciplined, humane, and sustainable.
